Flash Memory Summit 2012 is intended to showcase the multi-billion dollar market for Flash memory and enterprise SSDs. Among the many members of this industry and for its third year, WHIPTAIL will be in attendance to educate the audience about its family of products.

Whether it’s a silicon storage array like ours, a desktop technology or a mobile device technology, every company in attendance will demonstrate the various ways in which NAND Flash technology can be adopted and adapted.

WHIPTAIL believes this technology will become the principal data storage of the future, enabling companies to store and access data significantly faster than they ever have. As a result, technologies like VDI, Cloud Computing and Big Data will be positioned to truly transform the way companies conduct business.

Flash Memory Summit is a big event for WHIPTAIL because it is an opportunity to be shoulder-to-shoulder with a variety of technology vendors that embrace the foundation technology we use. It is an opportunity to show our peers and other members of the industry how NAND Flash has been embraced and how it can transform and enhance silicon storage arrays.

We are really proud and very excited to feature our showcase product, INVICTA, which scales up to 650,000 IOPS with over 7.5GB/s of throughput. We will demonstrate how Flash can be scaled out and made modular and how companies can begin to deploy their applications on the platform in different ways. Our CTO, James Candelaria, will be present to talk about our ability to enable our customers, and help our partners enable their customers, to improve their business performance. He will speak about the future of WHIPTAIL’s core software, which is used to manage NAND Flash. Matt Goldensohn, Business Solutions Manager of WHIPTAIL Labs, will run the INVICTA demonstrations and answer questions.
