If nothing else, this infusion of cash is the “red sky at night” forbearing for the vendors who live in and push the development of this ecosystem.

Traditional storage is exiting stage left (with the world of virtualization swinging the “Gong Show” mallet) for critical use-cases such as high IO applications like VDI and databases. Solid-state is the natural, evolutionary step for the transference of data. Buckle up, it’s going to be wild ride.
